Hello. I’m Bradley Bowen, an aspiring fantasy author currently drafting my first novel. I look forward to sharing updates about my writing projects and other musings here soon.

Here’s a little bit about me, in case you’re interested. I’m a 30-something Texas ex-pat living in Northern Colorado for the past five years. I am a seasoned digital strategist who has helped organizations and campaigns raise millions of dollars throughout my career. I am an unapologetic progressive, concerned with safeguarding human rights and justice for all, protecting the environment, and lifting up working people. I’ve been an ethical vegan since 2019 and I do my best to encourage others to consider what they’re eating.

In my free time, I’m an avid reader. I enjoy video games (PS5 + Switch) and tabletop games (I’ve played a Level 13 Druid in my regular Dungeons & Dragons campaign for years now). I have a 600+ day streak on Duolingo, but I still can’t speak French. (Peut-être un jour.) I collect vinyl records and am currently learning to play the acoustic guitar one song at time.

My favorite musician (and all-around person, really) is the legendary Dolly Parton. I am constantly inspired by her talent, determination, and mission to spread love and kindness.

I’ve been a fan of the fantasy genre for as long as I can remember. Some of my favorite stories include Ursula K. Le Guin’s A Wizard of Earthsea, J.R.R. Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings, N.K. Jemisin’s Broken Earth series, Mary Stewart’s Merlin trilogy, Andrzej Sapkowski’s Witcher novels, Brandon Sanderson’s Cosmere, and Robert Jordan’s The Wheel of Time.

I am excited to reveal more about my current writing project soon. I’ve been drafting it for some time now and it’s finally starting to come together. I can’t wait to share it with you.
