Introducing Cevali, an important location in Crystals of Ulstra

Cevali is often referred to by residents and travelers alike as “the free city.” It was the site of the original rebellion against Rego Aglo‘s rule, a desert oasis where free-thinkers, renegades, and dissidents flagrantly flouted the kingdom’s restrictive laws. They founded gaming halls and casinos, ostentatious fashion houses, worker-run brothels, and bookstores selling forbidden texts that would make a royalist blush.
Though it had no armed forces of its own, the free city soon found itself under informal, but robust protection—Glavo Brilo and Zirkono Minado alike sent warriors to defend Cevali any time Kastelspajro’s troops threatened its sovereignty.
In Crystals of Ulstra, the fabulous sorceress Farinosa is a citizen of the free city. Additionally, Lazuro and Gerda spend time in Cevali and the surrounding areas.
