Introducing Kastelspajro, an important location in Crystals of Ulstra

Kastelspajro is commonly called “the capital,” even though none of Ulstra’s various city-states pledge their allegiance to Rego Aglo‘s kingdom. Kastelspajro is rife with inequality and social stratification, with its wealthy nobles residing in enclaves, such as the business district of Orumita or the depraved, affluent coastal island called Calida.
The use of magic is technically illegal in the capital, though the king himself has been known to allow particular Mago to practice whenever it could benefit his agenda. Despite the oppressive environment, mages and other opponents of the regime still organize underground resistance. Many persecuted Mago have fled to Kado, an outpost operated by the Kavaliro of Glavo Brilo on the opposite side of Mage’s Bay.
Several key characters, including Lazuro, Espera, and Ora Fido, live in Kastelspajro.
