Crystals of Ulstra is a queer-normative epic fantasy novel.
But contrary to popular belief, there are straight people in Ulstra, too (at least a few 😂).
Today, I wanted to highlight one of my favorite M/F pairings: Delfen and Floranta.
Delfen is Koralo’s brother and best friend. He’s a forest guardian, a Kavaliro, and a young soldier eager to prove himself in the war. When he unexpectedly meets Floranta at the Glavo Brilo greenhouses and shares a night of passion with her, he reconsiders his future. More than anything, he knows the woman who’s stolen his heart has to be a part of it.
Floranta is Roko’s sister. She has her dream job, overseeing the vast gardens and greenhouses of Glavo Brilo. She never pictured herself with a soldier. But Delfen has her reconsidering her vision. The charming Kavaliro has a way of winning people over.
