Introducing a new romantic pairing to love from the upcoming epic fantasy novel, Crystals of Ulstra.

Crystals of Ulstra is a queer-normative epic fantasy novel coming December 4.

I’ve been highlighting some of the romantic pairings from the novel, including Koralo and Roko, Lazuro and Taguno, and Delfen and Floranta.

Today I want to introduce one of Ulstra’s resident power couples: Rubena and Napo.

Estrino Rubena is a timeless sorceress and a world leader in politics and education. Her lover, Generalo Napo, is a Kavaliro officer assigned to protect the magic city of Taumaturgio.

Their love is for the ages. But with a war against magic brewing, led by the Mad King Rego Aglo, can it last the volatile present in Ulstra?
